KMSTC COVID-19 Emergency Appeal

The Kent MS Therapy Centre (KMSTC) has temporarily closed its doors to support efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19. While the Centre may be shut, the team is still very much here for you but we are now calling on your help to safeguard the future of our much loved charity.

Our fundraising income has already been greatly affected by COVID-19 as many of our events have been cancelled or postponed, Centre-based services can no longer take place for the foreseeable future which means income from voluntary donations have declined dramatically.

At this stage we do not know for sure how long the Centre will remain closed and so we are working on a programme of activities that can be delivered remotely to our members, including live streamed and recorded meditation, relaxation and exercise sessions. Our physio team are also looking at ways to offer virtual sessions, maybe even a virtual choir and an online coffee morning.

The Kent MS Therapy Centre is the only charity of its kind providing vital services six days a week to people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) from across Kent. We are a small, independent charity and we do not receive any central government or NHS funding.

That is why we are launching the KMSTC COVID-19 EMERGENCY APPEAL.

Please support our cause by making a one-off or regular donation today so that we can continue supporting some of the most vulnerable and isolated members of our community now and into the future.

Our fantastic centre opened in January 2015, allowing us to provide a wider range of therapies and services that are vital in helping to alleviate some of the symptoms of MS.We are a self-supporting charity and funding for the centre comes from donations, from members of the public, businesses and institutions. Fundraising is a constant focus in order to meet the growing demand for services.
