Donna Blackman, from Epple Bay, has been taking part in the Kent MS Therapy Centre’s…
The Kent MS Therapy Centre Annual General Meeting was set for Friday 25th September. Owing to the coronavirus pandemic it had been decided to host the meeting online, together with a conference entitled Making Strides.
Unfortunately we did not get the 34 Full MS Members required in order for the meeting to be quorate (the actual number of full members attending was 24). In accordance with our Articles of Association, the Chair (Gavin Davis) therefore adjourned the AGM to a future date. This has been set for 9th October at 10am. A notice will be sent to all Members to advise them of the new arrangements.
Happily the conference was able to go ahead, focusing on the recent changes at the Centre to enable us to re-open as a Covid-secure operation. The Centre team made a fabulous video explaining everything that had happened to date and what Centre users could expect as more therapies become available. You can watch the video here.
