Giving in Memory

Make a lasting memorial to a loved one.

Losing someone you love can be a very painful and emotional experience. It is deeply personal and people handle bereavement in many different ways.

Tribute Funds

Creating a tribute fund is one way to make a lasting memorial to someone special, to celebrate their life and keep that person’s memory alive. Donating to a cause that was important to that person can bring comfort to family and friends, along with the knowledge that contributions will be used to help others in a similar position.

When you set up a tribute fund in the name of a loved one, it will be personal to you and the memory of that special person. You will have the choice of how and when your tribute fund is added to. All donations made by yourself, family or friends will serve as a lasting tribute as well as continuing to help us change the future for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Kent.

How do they work?

Once your tribute fund has been created it can be added to at any time. Traditionally, people invite donations in memory of their loved one at a funeral service or a celebration of their life, but as the fund is a long standing tribute it can be used to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or other family events such as fundraising events. There is no limit as to how little or often you can add to your fund, it is yours to use as you wish. We will write to the tribute fund holder once a year with an update about the Kent MS Therapy Centre and how much has been raised through their tribute fund in support of our charity.
