AGM Notice and invitation to the Making Strides Conference
This message is a formal notice of the next Annual General Meeting of the Kent MS Therapy Centre, which will take place at 11.00am, Friday 25th September 2020 via videoconference.
The Coronavirus Pandemic has forced us to take the unusual step of holding a virtual rather than face to face meeting, but I’m hopeful that as many, if not more, of our Members and supporters will be able to join us than did last year. The virus has also prompted the Board to propose a change to our articles to allow postal and email voting, to make our processes more inclusive if attendance in person is not possible. I hope you will be happy to support this change.
The full agenda, details of the resolution and a proxy voting form is attached with this notice. Minutes of the previous AGM are available for download here.
After the official AGM business, we will have a number of presentations on the re-opening and future plans for the Centre, which I’m pleased to say is well underway and going very well.
We will also be able to record the meeting so that anyone who misses the event can review it later. To help us with admin and voting on the day pre-registration is essential.
Please register in advance for this meeting by following this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZErd-6hpj8tEtE3qStNJcPXPJrB9OAppnHL
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting and the link for the meeting itself.
As always, Members will have the opportunity to ask questions at the AGM. If you would like to pose a question to the Board please submit them in advance by Friday 18th September to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. This will allow us to make sure we have the right information to give a full answer.
I do hope you will be able to join us and that the technology will work smoothly – if you have any problems registering please let me know.
With kind regards,
Chair of Trustees
