Reflex zones in the feet form a ‘map’ representing all the parts of the body. By massaging these zones, imbalances in the body are detected and relieved.
Some of the conditions assisted by reflexology are:
- back pain
- sleep disorders
- sinus problems
- hormonal imbalances
- breathing, digestive and circulatory problems
- bladder and bowel problems
- water retention
- back problems
- general aches and pains.
Many of our members report that their feet feel less ‘tight’ and more comfortable after reflexology. Those who experience poor circulation report an improvement in the colour of their feet and many people with swollen feet find that swelling is reduced and feet feel more comfortable following a treatment.
Reflexology is also extremely beneficial in reducing anxiety, stress and tension.
Many of our MS patients enjoy the opportunity for a complete ‘chill out’ whilst having their reflexology session. The therapist can combine a session with body massage and head neck and shoulder massage if required.
The Centre has three fully qualified reflexologists who, between them, also provide a variety of other therapies which include body massage, Indian head massage and facial reflexology.
How do I access the Centre’s reflexology service?
