Reiki

Action Potential Simulation therapy, may help to alleviate pain for those suffering with multiple sclerosis.

Reiki is now available in our therapy rooms with therapist Karen Hards, Sarah Crampton and Sophie Moore for those who prefer not to use the pool,

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki is available to members following an initial consultation with Jemma Pask our Member Support Officer.

Therapist Sophie Moore is providing Water Reiki in our hydrotherapy pool with members taking full advantage of the jacuzzi for a time afterwards!
