University of Kent Players raise £500 for KMSTC

Cast from the University of Kent Players production of Pride & Prejudice visited the Kent MS Therapy Centre (KMSTC) on Saturday, 21 January to hand over a cheque for £500.

The donation was raised through ticket and programme sales of the Players production of Pride & Prejudice at the Gulbenkian Theatre in October 2016.

The donation will help KMSTC invest in services to continue improving the quality of life for those with multiple sclerosis (MS) and those who care for them.

‘We were incredibly happy to support the Kent MS Therapy Centre with our latest production of ‘Pride & Prejudice.’ The work they do for those living with MS in Kent is invaluable and they receive no government funding. Having an immediate family member and several friends with MS, I know how debilitating the condition can be and I hope that this money will help the centre to continue their great work.’ Leila Jones, Director of Pride & Prejudice
